Open Play is our weekly drop-in session where kids get the whole space—and caregivers actually get to exhale.
Every Wednesday from 10 AM to 2 PM, we open Play Hideaway for free, unstructured play. There’s no schedule to follow, no performance to keep up with, and no pressure to be anywhere but here.
Just space to play, connect, and be.
❋ Free, Unstructured PlayOur full space is open for your child to explore at their own pace—whether they want to run, build, sort, or simply observe from the sidelines.
❋ A Weekly Sensory InvitationEach session includes a sensory activity that changes weekly. We’re kicking things off with spring-inspired play experiences.
❋ Caregiver Comfort MattersUnlimited tea and coffee, a calm atmosphere, and a quiet work corner if you need to catch your breath—or catch up on something.
❋ Inclusive by DesignAll ages and abilities are welcome here. Truly. There’s room for every kind of child—and every kind of day.
Play Hideaway was originally built to be a third space for families—a place outside of home and work where connection, rest, and community could exist.
But like many small businesses, we had to adapt.
As a mom building this space while raising a family, there was a learning curve—and we pivoted toward birthday parties to keep things sustainable.
Now, we’re finding our way back.
Back to the original vision.
Back to what families actually need.
And Open Play is where we’re starting.

You’ll have the option to add a donation when booking.
Every dollar goes directly to Embrave—no deductions.

How to book
$22 for your first child + caregiver
$8 for each additional child or adult
We intentionally cap each session at 15 families so the space stays calm, connected, and never overwhelming.
Spots tend to fill quickly—booking ahead is highly recommended.
